swollen polyps

I had good water conditions
0 PO4 levels
5.26 NO3
calcium 430
kh 9
magnesium 1380
I use amino acids. I was working with bio-pellets to reduce PO4 and NO3. All was great corals had great colors and growth. When i added to the reactor more bio-pellets after a few days i saw, sps corals became more darker, polyps became very short and fat, and they stopped growing. Does any body knows what might be the problem?

Are you still running the reactor? If so, go ahead and turn it off. Do a few heavy water changes and you will see improvements. I tried NP Biopellets a while back and I got similar results.

Thats what you see all the time on here, people having great success then once they add more pellets they have issues. Hope someone thats been through this and come out good on the other end will chime in. Im sure they will.
