sympathetic vibration

As the subject says, I think I am having a sympathetic vibration problem with my Reeflo Snapper external pump. It is possible that this could also be a sound wave problem, but the I dont know that either. What I don't know and hopefully someone can help with, is if there is something I can do to eliminate the problem without having to calculate the frequency of the vibration and find a white noise box that cancels that particular wave. The pump is currently sitting on a 3/4" neoprene pad on a shelf in a cabinet. Any and all help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Adam

How do you have it plumbed? Hard piped (PVC), Spa Flex, or vinyl/pol tubing?

The best way is to totally isolate your plumbing from the pump. You can use a couple foot section of vinyl tubing on the pump end of both the in and out of the pump. If you plumbing doesn't go thru bulkheads, you can also isolate the plumbing from the tank/stand/canopy by wrapping any touching area with some type of foam (Nitrile is what I use). If your pump is in your stand, cover any bare surface that you can with some neopreme. If none of that helps, start with 60K :)
