Synthetic Corals

Being that I have what is now an agressive tank, what do you all think about using synthetic corals to add some color to the tank. I got a couple pieces and they look pretty cool, and there are some websites that have some realistic looking stuff. I know ill get some gripes from the hardcore reefers, but right now im not very experienced with corals, dont have enough light PC 265W on 75gal, and dont really have the time to deal with them. All comments welcome looking for opinions and/ pics of them in the tank.

I had a few in my fowlr, and they are crap. They get covered with algae very fast.
I started taking some gsp, and zoe frags from my nano, and putting them in my fowlr with good luck so far.

I ran a fish-only with artificial corals for a couple of years when I first got into the hobby.

They looked okay when clean, but they need regular and thorough cleaning or the effect is soon lost.

They're pretty expensive and over all I regretted the whole experiment...

The trigger will bite/break off pieces of paint/synthetic coral....this could lead to intestinal blockage.

I do not recommend these for any predatory fish with teeth.
