Syphoning glass anemones?

Hi all!
After twenty years of being glass anemone-free, I have now a plague!
The only real change I've had, is because I've presently not got a sump in the same room as the tank, I've not been syphoning out debris...
Does anybody have any idea whether they can actually be eradicated by regular syphoning?

Yes I've got that... I'm just worried about collateral damage!

With aiptasia x or Joe's Juice you'll only be able to kill the ones you target directly, not the ones hiding in your rockwork or in the pipes. It's going to be a losing battle. I'd advise getting some peppermint shrimps which will keep them under control, or better, berghia nudibranches which will eliminate them.

if you get peppermints, get a lot of them. if you get only 1, it will not eat them. if you get about 5-10, there will be competition for food and they will eat the aiptasia
