t5 light fixture problems

Hey all, have my new nova extreme pro light fixture and had it sitting directly on the aquarium without legs or a splash guard. Well you guessed it water splashed up into the socket. Does anyone have any experience with replacing a socket or where i could get one? Also need to track down a splash guard and a set of mounting legs. thanks for any hel you can offer.

For a splashguard, you can see about getting thin plexy from homedepot/lowes etc and cut to size.

cool so any t5 endcap should work? Wasnt sure if the nova had a unique one to their fixture.

Any should work as long as you can mount them and have space for them

contacted Current and they are sending me out a new pair of endcaps free of charge. How awesome is that customer service!!!

I've had good success w/ Current in the past as well. Although, I wish they did have easier access to their customer care reps. I don't care for the email us and we'll get back to you approach. I'll eat the nickel for a telephone call, but I want somebody to talk with.

An update. Got a piece of plexiglass from lowes and ordered a set of legs from Marine Depot. Also finally ordered a new set of bulbs. Got 3 of them in, the other 23 are back ordered. Will try and post some before and after with the old and new bulbs.
