I personally think that only 2 would be necessary if you wanted to grow pretty much anything you wanted. 8 total is just too much IMO...6 should be fine. Right now even, you could probably get some sps to grow up high.
That might be to much light. I have 6x54 over a 90 tall.
SPS ok near the top. LPS mid way. Softies all over.
You might try diff. bulbs to get the best look and light
for your reef. I must say you are a plumb master.

I have been experimenting with K ratings. I have 2-12K and 2-actinics in there now.
dead beat reef: Thank you for your kind words spent a few hours in the garage trying to make it look right and a alot of time make long pieces of PVC into little ones LOL
I have 6 T-5 with ind. parabolic for each and I am able to grow sps no problem actually have a problem with bleaching when moving frags from 400 watt 20 k to the T-5 tank need to start frags lower in the water column or they will bleach
