If you are refering to the color in the tank, yes it is accomplished with actinic blue and 6500 bulbs. however if you are looking for the shimmering effect normally associated with MH, it can be accomplished if you have lots of bulbs. to give you an idea of what I mean, I started with my tank running 6 54w t5 they were enough light to keep sps, but I wanted deeper colors and the types of effects I was used to seeing with MH. To accomplish this I went up to 10 54w bulbs and 2 80w bulbs. so I basically have an overkill situation, but my corals have more than enough light, I can grow sps on the bottom of the tank, and I get the light effects I like. Plus not to mention they run cooler than MH
