I'm looking at buying my T-5 HO fixture from Aquatinics, Its the 48 inch five bulb fixture. I will be buying the bulbs blubs for it from reef geek, I would get bulbs from Aquatinics but they don't have the selection i'm looking for. I'm not sure what color look I want the tank to have but these are the bulbs i'm looking at getting I was just wondering what color this would produce. I'm guessing a little on the blue side.

ATI Blue plus
ATI Blue plus
UVL super actinic
ATI Aqua blue (I think its 12K)
Giesemann 6000K

Any comments, suggestions and recommendations would be helpful.

That's going to give you a blue color. If I run a 1:1 blue+ and aquablue, the color is on the blue side. I've heard the UVL actinic doesn't look so great although I haven't seen it myself.

I'd replace the UVL with another aquablue to give it a little more white look. Also, I'm not familiar with the aquactinics fixture but you should make sure it has individual reflectors.

I'm running 2 blue +, 1 sun, and 2 aquablues on an SLS retro from reefgeek. You are more than welcome to stop on by and check out the colors.

I was thinking the UVL SuperActinic bulb would bring out the Fluorescents in the corals. The Aquatinics fixture does have individual reflectors. Thanks for the offer, if I cannot make up my mind and go with what you suggested i'll send you a PM.
