Take a look at my Rainbow please..

It costs how much?
When I first introduced this, into my tank, it was doing great. I got this from a friend, who was running Metal Haylides. This is the same position, it is now. Top of the tank. I am running a 6 lamp, HO T-5. It's been in my reef for roughly 6 months:

Here it is, as of today. It is not dying, but is bleaching, on the new growth. It will all come into proper color for a few days, then, go back to bleaching:

It is growing, pretty well. I started with 2 small frags. 1 you can see on the left (looks like a seal, nose in the air) the other on the right. They have since grown together, but not near as colorful, as it used to be. But again...not dying out.

All params are in check. I dose BRS Alk & Calcium.
Alk = 9.3 in KL
Cal = 460 in mg/L PPM (was well beyond before adding new corals)
Salinity = 1.025
Temp = 79-80

I also keep a few frags of monti, that are really beginning to grow. These are larger, than when I first got them. They looked like pieces of Pringles, out of the can:

My calcium was reading well over 490, before introducing other corals.
My ALK started to drop so I keep it constant at 9.3 KH or 3.30 meq

I use Reef Crystals, change 15g every week on a 75g reef. RO/DI water only.

Thank you for the replies :thumbsup:

I was worried because it was loosing the underlying blue coloration.

It looks very healthy to me, give it time and the white will turn different colors. The new growth will more than likely always be white for some time.

I think it looks awesome the way it is IMO. the white adds a really cool contrasting affect. I say let it go and don't change a thing because you have some good growth going on.
