I know saltwater is corrosive, most hobbyist do too but reading all these forums and stuff like 'how to start a marine tank, what you need etc etc etc'
they never tell you....saltwater is CORROSIVE, watch what you use to open bags, cut piping, put certain items on a wet towel used to soak up spilled or dripped tank water.
I used my Stanley knife and sissors to open 2 bags of 'live sand' and cut the return pump tubing.....
both are rusting now haha
just hoping I didn't touch my laptop or other metal stuff with damp/wet saltwater hands.
