Tamron 180mm vs 90mm

Which would you get?
$300 diff in price.

For 36" tank, you'd be happier with the 180.

For macro work, both give you the same magnification: 1:1 What you gain on the the 180 is extra working distance. You can get 1:1 at 18" vs 11"

If you have the money, go with the 180. You can always add cheap extension rings later if you need a closer working distance.
