Tang spazzing out

why is it when i turn the light on, it seems that my tang all of a sudden becomes a spaz. also today i noticed on top of the spazzing, his lateral line looked kinda white. is he alright or just light shocked??

probably light shock i always turn another light on in the room before i turn on tank lights it helps with light shock

Good advice from sid123. I don't have the problem because my tank lights simulate sunrise and sunset.

That lateral line is supposed to be white at night....if you ever shine a light on your tank at night you will see its a pure bright white.......and the yellow will be faded

+1 my lights are on timers.. T-5Vho and T-8 on at 8am... 2 X 250w 20k MH on at 9am.... 8pm 250w's off..9pm t-5Vho's and t-8s off

Is this the Clown tang in your sig? Besides what everyone else stated -- which I agree with -- it could be the fact that you have a clown tang.
