Tang with ich

I have 2 blue hippo tangs 1 is around 4-5 in and the other is around 5-6 in. I noticed a few spots of ich on the larger one. I want to put him in a quarantine tank for hyposalinity treatment, but my quarantine tank is only 20 gallons. Is that big enough for him. Also i was shocked to find out my salinity in my tank was up to 1.030 should i keep him in my tank and drop the salinity back to 1.025 and see if that cures it or should i continue with the quarantine tank.
Thanks

the drop in salinity to 1.025 will have no effect on eradicating the parasite from your system.

i noticed that my tang is know laying on his side sometimes on the sand I cant tell if he is trying to get under the rocks or if he's just laying there.

I've had these fish for about 6 months and about 2 days ago I started to notice the ich. The salinity being high is the only thing that I could think off that might be a stressor.

sure it's ich? any pics?
generally speaking, a fish like the hippo that is so susceptible to showing signs of ich regardless of any added stress, would more than likely have many time over displayed evidence of infestation.

have you added anything to the tank over the last month or so that could have introduced the parasite?

I attached a few pictures of him but they didn't come out to good because of the light. I haven't added anything in my tank for awhile. I know that it is inch because I have encountered it in the past. Can I do hyposalinty treatment to my main tank because I don't have a qt big enough for him. Also he is laying on his side a lot and seems to just have the water push him around.

I think I might do the hyposalinity to the main tank. Will my invertebrates n live rock be ok? Also I know that tangs lay on there side when they get stressed out do you guys think that's what my tang is doing? Because he lays on his side a lot n I'm a bit worried.

Hypo will kill all inverts and coral.
