Tang with spine problem

Yeasterday, I introduced a couple of new fish (wrasses) to my reef and as usual the A.leucosternon in the tank got aggressive and set out to show them who is the boss.

Today, I noticed that the tang repeatedly wanted to get cleaned by the cleanershrimp. After closely looking at the fish, I discovered what seems to be the problem. One of his "hinged razor spines" does not fold back as it is supposed to. In the attempts to defend his territory against the newcomers a fishscale got stuck on the spine and thus making it impossible to fold back.

Other than seeking assistance by the shrimp and a little bit of dark "mood" coloration the tang is acting normal and eating (like a pig) as usual.

Have anybody had a tang with this problem and what do you think I should do about it? Just wait and see what happens? Try to catch him, which is easier said than done, and remove the scale with a couple of tweezers? Or do you have any other suggestions?

Best regards - Emanuel
