Tank Algea

I have a tank thats around a month old and still cycling, all the fish and crabs are doing excellent. My tank has a black background to it and I have not kept up on the algae on the back, the rest of the tanks walls are cleaned daily. So now the back has globs of green algae and a little red, Can I just leave the and let it do what it wants to do or should I clean the back too? Thanks.

It's really a matter of aesthetics. Cleaning the back glass isn't critical in any way, and there's no threat of any kind to the health of the tank if you leave it alone.

Ok thank, I just was not sure if that was good or bad algae or both, it is creating almost a wall on the glass that actually look pretty cool. Thanks.

Let me just mention that if the "wall" includes a thick green micro-algae as opposed to coraline algae, that's more than likely a sign that there are excess nutrients in your reef's water. So, if that is, in fact, the case, take that as a sign that you have to up the attention you give to your water's nitrate and phosphate levels.
