So I've been out of the hobby since 2015. Had to break down my build and get out because I had kids and figured there would be no way I'd have the time for it any more. Told myself that one day when tanks can be more automated, I may get back in. So every now and then, I check back on this forum to see if there are any advances. From what I see now, it looks like there are kits that can automatically test for multiple parameters and actually dose accordingly. Has anyone tried the triton kit or the Mindstream units? I've been itching really bad to get back in and if these units work good, it might be my chance.

Too expensive for me. If I were to get an automated doser it'd probably be the ghl kh director. Alk seems to be the main culprit for tank crash. It's something I check almost daily with a hanna checker so if its automated it may be worth it for me. I don't have a ghl doser yet though! Still have a coralbox doser with hanna checkers or salifert test kits. Seem to work fine.

Triton there are a few around the area, mindstream has been in development for a long while. There is also a few others including reefkenetics.
