I'm trying to clean out a 75g glass display tank and am wondering if anyone has advice on what to do or not do (chemicals, etc.) I'm going to sell this tank when I'm done, but I want it to be in the best-looking condition I can.
I agree with Gone Fishin. When I cleaned my tank, I used 3 gallons vinegar, filled the tank and sump, let it run for 2 days or so. This will loosen all the coraline algae. If you like, you can then sterilize with a bit of clorine.
