We have been having algae problems in or 90 for a very long time. I am convinced at this point that it results from phosphates trapped in the rock (most of the rock was previously used). We are preparing for a total rework of the tank in the next couple of weeks. I expect that we will improve the health of the tank by opening up the rock work a bit while we are at it, but I also think we’ll be losing some important space. So, here are a few things we are looking to sell before we make the switch. Most things look a little drab compared to what they are capable of because of the issues we've been having.
We’ll be at the meeting at The Aquarium restaurant and can bring stuff there. People attending the meeting will have first dibs and I’ll make arrangements for anyone after that. If you want something, contact me. I’ll definitely cut deals if you want multiple frags.
Green Digitata Colony â€"œ I’m selling the entire colony of green digi (branches about 5†tall)-----$45 for the colony. 2+†frags from frag tank also available for $10.
Orange Cap â€"œ From the top it measures about 5†(side-to-side) x 6†(front-to-back)-----$45 for the colony
Purple Rim Cap â€"œ A nice sized piece----$15
Candy Coral â€"œ There’s about 5 or so heads on this with a bunch of them splitting----$25
Cabbage Leather â€"œ This is a big piece from our 92 and is on a nice big piece of rock. It kind of forms a triangle on the rock with about 5-6†per side-----$50
Green Paly Colony â€"œ 30+ polyps of a green paly (exceptionally bright green under high lighting)-----$15
Green Cap Frag â€"œ This is a big frag maybe a bit bigger than 3†x 3†(I’ll have to sacrifice the growth on the tank)-----$15
Kenya Tree, Xenia, and Brown Pipe Organ Frags-----$5
The following SPS frags will be from my frag tank. I brought these back from the swap and because I still haven’t gotten a new light for my frag tank they are not colored up ideally. They are healthy and should color up fast once they can get a bit better lighting. I don't have pictures of these.
