Tank cloudy in the morning??

A friend of mine has a newer tank, about 2 months old w/ live sand, 65lbs of live rock (fully cured) some crabs, shrimp, snails a sump w/ mag7 return and a skimmer. The tank is cloudy in the morning then dissipates as the day goes on but never completely clears??????? I was thinking maybe something to do with the ph dropping during the night but why would the water cloud?? The cloudyness isn't from microbubbles, he has pc lighting on a 12on 12off schedule. All levels test great, ph, alk, nitrate, nitrite, ammonia, phosphate, salinity. Running a filter pad in the sump and just tried carbon last week to no avail....I'm stumped. Anyone?

Well about a moth ago i had a snail spawning incident, I had never seen this before and it made my tank really cloudy! My skimmer went crazy for a couple of days as the water cleared up.

hey does he drip kalk over night because I hade the same problem, If you really saturate it it gets the water cloudy and then it clears up :)

sorry ok 2 months. ph drop can be effecting all life and may be causing it to die at night and cload water. check ph at night to rule this out.
