Tank Design

I am currently in the design phases of a 20L display tank with a 10gal sump. Here is a my current design. Please let me know your thoughts.

I have thought bought adding valves onto the overflows but I'm concern with debris getting caught.

Considering going to a 15H to allow for more volume on the sump.

Please post your comments and suggestons.

How big a pump are you going to use that you need a return to the skimmer chamber ? I'd suggest two returns to the tank instead.

Are the dual overflows for redundancy ? It's a lot of extra work as opposed to having a single overflow. I prefer center overflows but that's just my opinion.

The 15 high is a better choice for a sump if you have the room.

My current plan is to use one Quite One 3000. I chose this design due to the limitation of space. I can control the flow into the refugium and the flow into the display with the use of the two valves on the return. Why do you suggest two returns?

They are dual overflows. The idea came from another nano-reefers tank. I just simply like the overall look.

Why do you suggest two returns?

If the pump is big enough two returns eliminates a powerhead in the tank.

I plan on having only a loc-line y-piped into 2 sections in the tank and no other powerheads. Trying to keep it clean.
