tank divider

What material do you use to divide a tank?

If I wanted to isolate half the tank and keep all crabs/fish out, what would be a good material that still allows water to flow through, but is fairly resistant to clogging?

I figure the pores have to be at least 1/8" to prevent frequent clogging, but smaller then 3/8" to prevent small creatures from making it through.

Let me know if I'm not clear what I'm asking for,
Thanks in advance.

You could do something like this as a tank divider, then just drill the holes you need, at the size desired. I did this when I added baffles to my sump and it works great and is not permanent or allows you move things around. Just an idea.

thats pretty neat, i used silicone to hold my dividers in place which is almost permanent but with that stripping stuff it looks like you could change around your baffles till you find out what works best.
