Tank has ich and want suggestions

I have a 75 gallon mixed reef tank that currently houses a small foxface, purple tang that is about 4", a baby yellow tang, a bonded pair of black clowns, a starry blenny, and 3 blue green chromis. Both tangs are showing ich bad but all others show no signs at all. My question is I have a 20 gallon long tank that I can make a qt tank. Is this big enough for all the fish? I have no other options. I have copper treatment and such. Just want to know what you recommend for fallow time and qt time? Thanks

A 20L is going to be tight with all those fish. If space is the issue; I would recommend picking up a 29 gal if you can. It has the same footprint as a 20L (just taller), and that extra 9 gals will give you a little more wiggle room (every little bit helps).

Treatment time in copper is 4 weeks; fallow period for the DT is at least 9 weeks. Good luck!

putting them all into a 20g is likely just going to greatly stress them out and it could potentially complicate your ich treatment and cause other issues.

Even if you have to go to home depot and pick up a couple of storage crates and put the pairs in those, I think that'll make your treatment go a lot smoother! Just remember to put a bubble wand or two in the storage crates if you go that route.

Those two tangs will almost certainly be at war sometime. Tangs of this genus usually hate each other and a 75 is too small (IMO & IME) for one, much less both, of them.
