Tank Mates

Hello! I have recently set up a Zeroedge Aqurium, ultimately to house clams. Since the tank is young I would like to add a few fish and possible some zoos. Could you suggest some tankmates for clams. I have already lost a tomatoe clown and a chromis from jumping out. These were suggested by the manufacturer as suitable to the zeroedge. Obivously the fish didn't read the web site. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks Jean

Tank 20 gal
Live Rock - 20 pounds
Age - 2 months
Ammonia,Nitrite,nitrate = 0
PH = 8.3
Temp = 74
Turbo snails for clean up

Yellow tangs are ok but keep and eye on them around clams for the most part they dont mess with clams but you will proably need a bigger fish tank for them. humm a blood shrimp would be ok they are reef safe and I have never had mine get near the edge. try a clown gobbie or something of that nature.

A 20gal is too small for a Yellow Tang. A 90gal is the minimum size. Also, a Temp of 74F is too cold for most tropical reef fish. A temp of 78-82F is ideal.
