im going to go bare bottom and should probably sell my mandarin.. very healthy, i have had it for 8 months.. $20 B/O.. asap..

well everything is back into the tank and looking pretty good.. it was a very stressful time for the corals, and me though.. i have a question though.. should i put the orignal flow back into the tank which was a SEIO 820 or should i ease them back into this with a SEIO 620.. the 820 would rip in the tank, the 620 is more gentle.. they didnt have a problem before but with all the stress, i didnt want to push it further by blasting the tank with crazy flow.. any input would be appreciated, also as i posted earlier, i would really appreciate some LS from a few tanks.. if anyone could help out that would be great..

Glad to hear everything is looking good....

You may want to give the BB a chance You may really like the results.

you could always dial down the 820 a little and bring it up to full output slowly....

the great thing about the BB is you can have tons of flow....

I agree glad to hear things went well.

I agree with gary, start the current slow by throttling back the pump then slowly increase the flow.

well i hung the MH canopy over the tank today and have had it on for about 4 hours..all LPS has expansion, all SPS have PE, anemone has a tight mouth and good expansion, and so far has stayed put.. all my GSP, PSP are open..overall everything is looking very good.. the only coral that has a small problem is my echino that was attacked by my echinata that was like 3 inches away..ill check on everything again when i get home..thanks for all your help Gary G.. and thanks for asking..

so far so good.. i am going to probably do a small water change tomorrow.. everything looks great.. someone in the URS stopped over and said it looked great, couldnt even tell it was just moved(no coral stressing, all LPS,SPS polyps out)..iactually like the look of the BB.. i may not go back to sand.... at least probably not for a little bit.. when i get the camera back ill post an updated full tank photo if i can get a good shot, if not just a bunch of macros..thanks again for the help Gary G..
