Hey gang,
I am looking at a "new to me" tank and trying to gauge how much it would cost to have the tank moved for me. We are in the process of moving from our apartment into a house and I have found an amazing deal on a set up.
Anyone have an idea of what it would cost moving a 6 foot 150 gallon with all contents, stand and canopy from Coconut Creek to Coral Springs? All would be first floor moves. Any information or help would be appreciated.

Complete set up is about 600 to 800 from what I have researched...

Anyone interested in helping move a 150? Having it moved would be more than what I would be paying for it. No bueno.

We moved a complete 300 with some friends from Coral Gables to Ft. Lauderdale. Shouldn't be that hard. Beer and pizza was all it took.

I know it isn't that hard. Finding the assistance is the problem. I am trying to get things lined out. I may end up having to rent a Uhaul truck to be able to make the move in 1 trip.

We did rent a uhaul trailer. Between the trailer and our truck it worked out fine. Luckily Mike had some Navy buddies that helped. We had 4 extra guys to help get it out of a very small house and onto the trailer. 2 guys picked it up and walked out with it (acrylic). Freaked me out. Hope some volunteers to help out.

I have had several guys offer to help so I am keeping my fingers crossed that I can coordinate the offers. Acrylic definitely has some advantages over the glass tanks.

I have secured an arrangement with one of the services for the tank to be moved. Looking forward to having this beast moved and set up. Thanks for the input from everyone.
