Tank redo.

So I know my tank just got setup about 6 months ago but after looking at a few things I realized it needed to be redone, I had multiple plumbing leaks, along with, the drywall wouldn't hold the light, not even with anchors so I wanted to make a light rack off the stand. So we drained it and I realized I also didn't want to use the white starboard again so it will just be a straight bare bottom. I also realized I didn't want to run pumps for the reactors so I made a manifold fed from the return pump. Well about a week ago I was putting the plumbing back on cracked the back of the tank, ordered a new tank. So while doing that I removed my glass overflow, and realized I didn't want to use it so bought black acrylic. Tank will be here next Friday, drilled on Saturday and then it's just a waiting game for the silicone holding the overflow on to cure. Here a few pics.

Also, the stand is getting a new back piece. But I like the way the manifold came out.

Light rack made from 3/4" conduit.

The crack. The white stuff you see is saw dust, so I didn't want to redo the plumbing again so I clamped a piece of wood on the back and drilled throw the holes into the wood so I can use it as a template for the new tank, so the plumbing with fit.

Only good thing about not having the tank on the stand is that the stand makes a nice little work bench. Here is the acrylic overflow I just put together.

Also, the two fish are currently a big tote with the LR, powerhead and a heater and seem to be doing just fine. And the coral are in a local friend's tank.

I actually need a router. I remember you mentioned you had quite a selection of tools. Thanks btw, I'm pretty happy it's all getting done. Im a little bummed I had to buy a new tank but I guess it's okay because now I'll have a nice black acrylic overflow.
