whats the smallest tank you can go with for sea horses, i am sure that this will differ between fish, but whats the absolute smallest that you can have
depends on if you want dwarf seahorses or regular ones. check out seahorsesource.com or seahorse.org for info on tank sizes. 30+ gallons is what's generally recommended for regular sh and dwarves should be housed in much smaller tanks. The tank should be at least 3x the uncurled height of the adult sh. good luck!
I would go as small a 3g for dwarfs, 20g for fuscus or capenisis, and 30g for medium species like barbouri, erectus, comes, and reidi. I would go up to a 90g for kelloggi, igens, and pots.
