Tank tracking worksheet

When I first set up my nano, I spent about 5 minutes looking for a good tank tracking sheet for MS Office/Openoffice and did not see much, so I made a quick and dirty one of my own in Excel. Now that I am getting my 180 up and running, I am getting serious about tracking my results and not just testing, so I expanded it a little. I figured I would share it, and even perhaps someone will have a much better one to reccomend.

The goal behind using the spreadsheet format is so I can generate graphs for trending over time to really see how my tank is behving, so that when I get algae blooms, or a fish.coral dies, I can have historical data to perhaps predict and head off something in the future.

Thanks Andy, I downloaded it and intend to use it, BUT......now I have to record when I really do test

Lol Norman, that is the down side, but if something happens II don't want to guess..it cost me enough $$$ learning how to keep fish already hehe.

I will work on improving this over time, and once I remember how to do the ivot chart, I will build it in.

Hey, here's a website that does a pretty good job of helping you track most of the stuff you'd want to. Also has a pretty good set-up for documenting what is in the tank (with pictures). I honestly had every intention of setting something up really nice for my 270, but then I had an unexpected move and my 270 is sitting empty in my garage... so I never got around to it.

Here is a spreadsheet I setup a few years ago with former MTRC club member TheOp. Among other things, it automatically calculates the dose of 2-part to add to keep your parameters in range.
