tank viewing

I was just wondering how you guys have your tanks set up for viewing. do you have it so you can see from the sides, or do you have it so you look down into the tank?

I personally like the custom clam tanks that some acrylic places are making, they are about 3 foot tall and you can view them from the sides but mostly they are for top viewing and only have a few inches of water above the clams.

Although I haven't seen one in person yet, I would someday like to get one of the clam tanks that have a 45 degree viewing panel half-way up the front of the tank. I think this type of setup would be more aesthetically pleasing as a piece of furniture in the living room. For now I just have to settle with viewing my clams through the side of my tank.

Some time later this summer ill be purchasing the 40 gallon clam tank....it will be plumbed into my reef tanks sump...Ill use it for a natural clam fuge....a little live rock and some acro frags...and hopefully about 15 clams or more untill i run out of room....it will be the one with the 45 cut out of it to see the real color.....that way my greens will look green not blue....

I have a 4 foot 120 gallon tank that is viewable from 3 sides...room divider, a 92 gallon corner bowfront which is obviously in the corner of my kitchen, and my ClamsDirect clam tank should be here this week. Each is different and I like all of them.

150 viewable from 2 sides and the lights hang from ceiling so u can look down into the tank, the stand is short- maybe 2ft tall
all my clams are up on rockwork so u can view them from the top
