Tank weight

Setting up a 120 RR AGA and was wondering how my floor is going to hold up. Would like to know if anyone else has set up a large tank on a wood floor before. I live in a doublewide that I bought just 3 years ago and was wondering if I should beef the flooring up a little under the house?
The joist are 2x6's and are going to be running along the lenght of the tank. I just dont want to come home and find my reef at ankle level and have to explain to the wife why there is a draft in the house. :)

I did.. the same tank.. 4x2x2.. i had to sell my tank, it literally split my walls in the room it was in and on the other side of the room next to it.. and bowed my floor down I had cinder blocks and 2x4's under the house as well.. sooo.. good luck..
I'm sure it could be done, but I didn't have luck.. I now have a 24gallon and no problems with the floors yet.. haha, I'll be starting another larger tank once I move into another house..

i dont know about a 120 but have seen a 125 in a single do fine and a 180 in a double wide set across 3 beams and they also had a 72 bow and a 55 dont know if that helps but have seen it done

Best practice would say add additional supports unter the floor. It would be best if you could also add piers under the tank to totally support the tanks weight straight to the ground. you might also wnat to pour a couple small 8" footings in the soil where the piers would be. I would expect that the groupd would compact a bit if you did not.

I have a 75 with a 20 fuge and a 29 with a 10 fuge sitting right next to each other and they have never moved. I am planning on sitting one end of the 120 on top of the steel beam that runs the lenght of the house so hopefully it won't go anywhere. I can't convince the wife to move the TV so I can sit the entire tank on the steel beam and not have to worry about it. I was lucky to convince her I needed another tank,,,LOL
