Tankwater for TTM

Would it be bad to use tankwater from water changes for TTM? Since they will end up in the water eventually anyways I figured it would be fine. I may be not thinking of something and sounding dumb so feel free to let me know if I am haha.

I started doing that. For both QT water and anything else. Saves on salt and rodi water.

As long as you are know for sure the DT water does not contain any parasites.

That was my concern but if you think about it that doesn't really matter cause they are going into that water afterwards and would be infected at that point anyways.
