tapping plexiglass

Anyone here tapped plexiglass with good success?

It depends on the thickness. I've tapped 1/4" sheets that I've doubled up to make probe holders. You just have to go slow and not force it.

cool...I plan on using 1/4" so that's good to hear.

Yes easy and no issues. Turn the tap in 1/4 turn at a time then reverse till it feels like it's "taken". Usually after about 2 full turns it's safe to finish off. I've gone to 10mm cast acrylic
