Target nano tank temp?

I've had reef tanks for decades, from nano to large, and tried to keep my tanks around ~78 degF with spikes higher in summer (even with chiller).

Now that I have a 10G nano, I'm wondering what ya'll do. Just let the tank sync with the ambient temp of the room its in? Do you strive for a fixed temp all year like somewhere between 76-78 or vary with the season?

Any trends you've observed with successful nano keepers?

Scott

PS I currently keep my tank at 74, but thinking about raising it slowly to ~76

I have a 5 gallon reef tank and strive to keep my parameters and temp as stable as possible. So I keep my temp at 25 Celsius +/- 0.3 using a temperature controller. It controls my heater and a fan unit. Works really well I think. My corals and nem are doing really well.

I use a controller and 2 finnex heaters for redundancy and stay between 78.5 and 79. I have the heaters temp set at 80 in case the controller fails on

Thx for the replies. Each week I have been raising tank temp by 1 deg F and at 76 now, holding and observing how tank responds.
