Tattered fins?

Hello. Today I noticed my male clownfish has some tattered fins and was sitting on a rock at the top of the water. What could be the problem here? Only other fish is my female clownfish who is shown in the background of my other picture. Ive had these 2 for about 2 years now.

Is probable fine, clowns can be aggressive with their mates. I had a couple for 7 years they kept fighting. I now have a 4 year old couple that never fights they even had babies some time ago. Hit and miss. Have added anything recently?

Btw I think you got the sex wrong. Female is the large one. Males stay small until the dominant female dies, then one male changes sex to female.
