makes sense if ya think about it. the lowest I ever seen the tds outta my faucet was about 450ish, this thread kinda makes me wish I had a replacement battery on hand for my tds meter I bet my water is all sorts of nasty right now.
also with the heat comes with dry cracked ground and most of our water pipes in okc are over 60years old and clay pipe. these are leaking all over the place but it works the other way to some natural seepage into the lines. the water is pretty good at the treatment plant but changes very quickly after it leaves. I got a lesson at one of the treatment plants last week! They are also pulling water from some new lakes and Magee Creek is pulling like 60 million gallons a day. Draper is almost dry and they putting in as much as they are pulling out trying to keep up. its actually a little scary. but they are adding some new 60in pipes from a couple of new lakes this year so hopefully it will get better.
had not see draper in years, that was the party spot when i was a kid, down here in ardmore we are on strict water control and was 109 today, if it does not break soon we might be wearing shorts in November.:eek1:
