temp/alk swings

what kinda die off should i look for with a temp or alk swings?? my tank is stable know but a have a few corals that have slowly been dieing out from the bases...weird thing is its manly ora corals...and its been doing this the same corals for over a year now and they have grate pe..

my alk is 7.5 dkh elos
phos .03 hanna bench (i change gfo bi weelky)
ph 8.2
nitrate 0-10ppm
cal 420-450
mag 1250

skimmer
sro 2000int
aqua c ev 180

2 x eshine leds unit that make up 40 cree 3watt leds.

IMO temp swings are not a big issue. Alk swings on the other hand can be dangerous and cause stn. Alk is one of the most important things to watch with sps. As soon as my alk swings things turn for the worst.

im thinking the die off is from past alk swings and the few weeks i was learning my cal reactor...i just wnated to make sure...may not matter any more my girlfriend knew i wanted a fish out and after she had a few drinks thought she could help me came home and my tank was taken apart pretty much :headwallblue::debi: good thing the oj monti was the only thing with true damage...went from 12"+ to about two lil 4" leafs...im guessing the fish was trying to hide in that :fish1:

well just found my choati wrasse....guess i dont need to get my six line out anymore..
