For some reason I can't figure out how to set the temp or adjust it for the light shut off. I have non-dimmble lamps.

Here is what i have done:
-gone into the temp light red menu.
- next temp 1 comes up. it doesn't allow me to do any other funtion other than enter???
-illumina is next. Which I have set to the channel that i want it to control.
- next it ask me to save.

Not sure if the shut limit is preset? Is there any way to change it?
Any help would be great.

Has anyone ever adjusted the temp shutoff for your light? It says int the manual that the shut off limit can be adjusted between 1 - 10 degrees C. I just can't find the menu to adjust it.

yes, thats the one. What i can't find is how to set the temp that I want them to shut down at.

I have both my MH on a high amp. They are on at 1500 and off at 2200 hours. Both ballest are non-dimmble

What I meant is the schedule that they are on, but less pressume that they are on schedule 1.

If schedule 1 exceed the temperature by 2 degree of the pre-set values in the temp menu

So when the temperature of probe 1 exceeds 29.7 degrees in my set up the schedule 1 will shutdown

I have not used the fireware yet. I have been running every thing though the base unit. Is there an option for this on the base unit or do i have to do this on my PC using the firmware? Thank for you help!

I assume that firmware = Software?

It can be done on the unit, just alot more step to get it done......

What device do you have?

I have the profiLux II. I havn't been using the software do to a future move and no computer excess near the tank.

thats what I did. After that I went to:
- into the temp light red menu.
- next temp 1 comes up. it doesn't allow me to do any other funtion other than enter???
-illumina is next. Which I have set to the channel that i want (S3) it to control.
- next it ask me to save.

I have yet to find a temp shut off limit, that allows me to pick a temp to have that light shut off in the event of an overheating temp.

"temp 1 comes up. it doesn't allow me to do any other funtion"
-> if you had more than one temp-probe you would be allowed to choose one of them

Then you select the channels were the temp.dep.l.r. should apply on.
If you selected at least one channel you will be asked for "min. temp. excess", "max...", "Shut off limit".
If you select no channel you won't be asked that.
Did you read the manual?

I have read the manual. I only have one proble for temp. I think I got it changed using the software. I will try what you have suggested tomorrow.
thanks
