Is there any benefit to putting these on my dc8

Also, here is what I have to plug in. What would you put on the dc8?

MH Lights
VHO Lights
Tunze
Tunze
Heater

The above are for sure so I have 3 spots left

Mag 12
Skimmer
ATO
Pump for Dinitifier
MJ 1200
Fan

does the aquacontroller have some sort of miscellaneous timer function? or does it just do pH and temp?

temp sensing fans would be a good idea...if the AC can turn a heater on and off then it can definitely do the fans

you could probably have one fan turn on at a certain temp and the other turn on in case the temp gets higher

I could set the fans to if it gets too hot to kick on/ too cold kick off. But they have the big adapters which makes them a pain to put on a powerstrip. The icecap fans already sense the temp and run accordingly so would I gain anything putting the fans on the AC or just leave it on anther plug?

If it's that low of a voltage, an easy solution is to have an extra little night light that comes on as an indicator light. I have no problems with my litermeter which is on a 9v supply, A split w/a powerhead (local to the device to help with mixing) is also another option in the case of a pH changing device. Avoid low level voltage on the 8th plug due to it being a dimmable outlet so the voltage will "trickle" more.

I use my main Iwaki pump on mine and it's great for the feed function. If you are having issues with the 15amp max, use one of those 15 amp expansion modules:

and that will let you take it off of the main dc8 or dc4 and yet still control it.

No sense in having the fans on the dc8 since they already have the temp sensing in them. i.e. if the ac turns it on, it may still not turn on until it gets to whatever temp icecap decided was it's on/off setpoint. Also, that will open up more items the ac can control.

Just bring your dc8, ac, and your notebook over Sat. (or if I can get away I'll just come over sat). We'll program it and then you can just hook it up. I'll copy my program over and then we'll just change/delete/rename the timer names and schedule to fit your needs.

Do you have aquanotes yet? I'll just cut/paste the commands to a word doc or other doc and then cut/paste it into yours and then do the changes.
