Temp

There is no proper temperature. Acros come from many different reefs and many different depths.

Up to around 84 degrees is somewhat safe. You will find people who keep tanks from the mid 70s all the way up to 84 or so. You will find opinions that qualify each temperature as the best...

In the end it will depend on what your equipment equalizes at and if you are comfortable running a chiller and how often.

There is no correct answer. There are certainly some things to consider thought. Higher temps mean less disolved oxygen in the water. Higher temps mean more biological action and faster metabolisms of critters. Some corals may color better under higher or lower temps... etc
