temp?

I have a pair of true percs and I want to get them to breed. What I would like to know is what is an ideal temp for their setting. I have heard anywhere from 76-82 degrees. What is optimal and why? thanks

Yep 82°F to 86°F, but watch out, warmer water carries less O2...
