I need to know do you fill to the top of the line on the test tube or the bottom of the line on all their test kits.

top of the line. i dont use test kits anymore so its been a while but thats where i believe i was filling too. good luck something wrong with the water?

Fill so that the bottom of the meniscus sp? ( the very bottom of the U shape that forms in the water) is at the top of the line. However if your somewhere on the line I don't think it will make much of a difference. They are accurate enough to give a good idea but that little water is probably within the margin of error for the test.

I would have to disagree with this. A good test kit is worth it's weight in gold to me. I use salifert! They give better resolution than most test kits.

You misunderstood Cubano. He meant top or bottom of the line of the Aquarium Pharmaceuticals's test tube.

And not the quality of test kits.

haha, you caught me! I was reading a few thread at the same time and got confused. Ranat explained it perfectly. The bottom of the meniscus should be at the line.
