Thanks Matt and Rod!!

Cancer Sucks
Thanks again to Matt for coming down from Tucson and Rod for helping with the big tank move today! We got it in place and have some Seios running for circulation. Nothing is plumbed yet, so the sump, skimmer, chiller and fuge aren't connected yet. Very bare-bones at this point, but looks good so far.

Thanks again!

No problem, glad to see those clowns weren't affected by the move, lol. When you get the hood back on you should take some photos of the coral. Hopefully everything survives the move and the corals are nice and healthy.

New place! Cool.

I really like the house, and it's great to actually own instead of rent, but I just REALLY wish all this moving business was over with!

How is the plumbing going? What is left to do?

I got most of it done yesterday. Still need to plumb the fuge and hook up the calcium reactor, and the chiller. This is today:

Oh, and the good news is, drilling that hole in the side of the overflow seems to have fixed my flood-during-power-outages problem I had. :D

Nice, thats always sweet when you don't have to worry about stuff like that. The Acropora nanae with the purple tips that you gave me has almost total RTN. The base still seems to be fine, its the tips mostly. I think the misting strategy would have worked fine, but the tips probably didn't get as much water. The others seem to be doing fine, the red monti and the green/purple monti are both really light in color, which might be a difference in bulbs or something. I am really hoping that the green/purple monti starts to get a little more color as it would be an awesome coral. How is the nanae in your tank doing?

Hey Ed,

No new pics, but everything has stabilized. The only total loss was one of the bottle brush colonies. Others like the RM prostrata, the Scripps Mille, and the blue tort are about 50% loss, but the remaining portions are now doing well. Most like the PROP mille and the ponape were unaffected. The huge nana from the overflow fell during the move and broke into about 1000 pieces. They're all in the frag tank now, but it didn't take the shock well. Most of that has died. The other nana colony that was on the rocks is doing well.

Here it is today. Need to scrape the glass, and getting a little GHA but nothing I can't live with. It'll get back on track in no time. :)
