Thanks for showing me the Aqua-silencer standpipes. I installed them today (a whole 30 seconds) and the overflows are definitely quieter.

Cool I am glad they worked for you! They were fairly noisy before so that was money well spent. How do you like the new sump and skimmer?

I like everything. Had to learn a few things along the way but that is to be expected.

Had a couple times that I wanted to swear at the lid on the collection cup....

Yeah those lids on the ASM skimmers can be tricky. I found they only go together smoothly one way. Once I found the way it fit best I marked the lid and collection cup with a permanent sharpie marker so that I would never forget. They can be a pain…
