Thawed frozen food

I drop 4 frozen cubes in a ketchup bottle with warm water and shake until the all break up. I then use that bottle to feed two tanks, for however many days it takes to empty it. I then refill it.

Been doing this for months now, no issues.

If you think about it...milk sits in the fridge for weeks. So does fruit, yogurt, all manner of other stuff that you eat. Why can't fish food last more than a day or two?

John,
I usually mix an array of frozen food/cubes. I put the frozen cubes in a small mixing cup, I fill the mixing cup with tank water. When they melt I dump them into a fish net and then run tap water over the food mix in the net. Lastly I dump the net/food back into a container with tank water. I then use this for about a week or more to feed the fish daily. After use I leave the container in the refrigerator. I've been doing this for a long time with no issues.
