Thawed frozen foods?

I'm currently feeding a mix of phytoplankton, mysis shrimp, Rotifers, and cyclopeeze. Pulling from fridge and freezer, measuring, mixing, etc. gets to be a pain. I've started pre-mixing 3 or 4 days of individual "servings" in small amounts of DI water and storing them in the fridge. It's nice and convenient, and I've started feeding smaller amounts twice daily since I can grab a container in the morning, dump it in, and finish getting ready for work. My question - is there is a problem letting frozen mysis, etc. sit thawed in the refrigerator for 3 or 4 days?

Have you ever taken anything out of the freezer and let it thaw in the fridge for a couple days and then ate it? If it doesn't hurt you it's not going to hurt your fish either.

Make sure you drain off the water before puting in the tank. There are a lot of nutrients that leach into the water that your fish won't eat that will turn into algae food and cyano food.

That's exactly how I was doing it too. Now I've taken it one step further. I use an ice cube tray and make up thirty feedings at a time. I thaw 5 at a time.

I have a lazy related question...I just throw in frozen blocks of food and let them defrost in the tank...Bad, good, or just lazy?
