Please make arrangements to pick up your clams at Your Reef within the next two-days. They are all there and are ready to go home with their new owners, so make haste and go get em’. Any clams not picked up by the end of the business day on Friday will be made available to the general public at the regular (full) cost.

Subject: Clam Group Buy

Hi,
Starting tomorrow I am ready for clams to be picked up. I would like to get them to the group buy members as soon as possible. That way the remaining 20+ clams can go up for sale.

All the clams look very nice and the prices are even better. Prices range from $30-$40 except for the two Golden Teardrop Maximas which are $49.00. Those prices are before the Discount, so Actual prices will be as low as $22.50.

Thanks again,

John Dakan

Just picked up small blue maximas at YR today. John said he ordered the maximas from ORA (~2.5"). Great prices and thanks for setting this up Shiveley.

The squamosas were pretty big. I was the 1st to get a Deresa today. So i also picked the one that had the darkest blue rim and also just happen to be the biggest one and nicest:)

Man, you guys are fast

Man, you guys are fast

Guess I'd better hurry up and get mine before you guys pick through everything...ha!

They Are Beautiful!

They Are Beautiful!

Yippy! I just picked up my Squamosa and Derasa clams! They are simply beautiful, and even a bit larger than previously described.

It appears as though half of the group buy participants have already picked up their clams, so that means that half of you still need to get over there before the end of the business day on Friday to pick up your clams.

You will not be dissappointed. The Squamosa's are from ORA, and have very well defined and striking markings. And all of the Derasa's that I saw had intense blue to turquise rims (which is not all that common in the trade). And, of course, the Maxima's and Crocea's are colorful beyond description.

I think John did a great job at hand-picking our specimens and in my opinion we all owe him a debt of gratitude. These are simply the best looking clams that I've ever seen at a LFS, and John is to be commended for looking out for us and our interests. Thanks John!

So, for those of you that haven't made your way out to Your Reef yet, get movin'! As for me, I'll be busy staring at my clams...

Thanks!

Since everybody's braggin' about how they snatched the best -- I can't. But I wouldn't normally call my squamosa nor maxima seconds. Still very nice. Thanks John. The pick-up window sure snuck up on me...
