What is the best way to harvest some star polyps (Carpet) that is growing where I don't want it to?

cut it where you want to, and sell the excess or remount somewhere else. sharp pointy scissors work best (stainless steel if you can), and a thin rubber band to hold them down after a little dab of super glue gel.

put some flat rock in front of it,it will grow over the rock,then u just cut the edge to harvest it.
