a guy at the LFS told us to feed all of the little buggers, and then to let the lights go off so that its not like a new fish is being added, more of a new fish just happened to be there when they all "woke" up.
it seemed like a good idea... haha.
around midnight last night (while i was asleep.... i hate watching fishes fight) we put the B&W fish in the tank.
when i woke up, he/she was in the top area, and the other fish was slightly attacking it.
it seems more like a dominance thing, rather than a "I HATE YOU" sorta thing.
they are sorta the same size, with our original one being a little bigger.
they keep swimming sorta on their sides, is that part of the dominance thing?
happy to report that the only injuries are a few bites outta the B&W's tummy fins.
my theory is that if they were going to kill each other, they would have through the night, right? and they are just establishing who is who?
might be wishful thinking, but any ideas on the morning after putting one in would be much helpful
