The Red Slime Algae

Hi Folks,

My tank has been up and running for about 6 weeks. It is a 75 G with sand,60lbs of Tunga live rock(cured when bought from LFS), a Seio 1100, Protein Skimmer, and a hang on filter(yes i know its medevil but it does remove solid waste for now.)

IMPORTANT:I have well water and I have been using a water conditioner and Phosban. I am blaming the well water as the culprit. Until I can get a small RO unit, should I be treating my Red Slime with a ny chemical treatments?

I have 2 clowns, one toadstool coral, 25 snails,1 urchin and a sand sifting star, and 2 emerald crabs. I dont want to hurt any of my inverts ,fish, or my first coral.

I appreciate the help.I just posted a tank pic to my gallery. I appreciate any ideas on the layout, and how I am doing so far. Just take it easy on me ;)

I would use some activated carbon as well to suck out any other possible culprits from the water
