Along time ago there was nothing in the Shire. Then the land was brought in by the giants of the void. Inhabitants from another plane of existence. They brought land from all over their universe with all it's own inhabitants allowed to come along on the journey. They added a few mostly peaceful Immobile inhabitants with a thirst for the light, some guardians, and allowed all to go it's own path.
All was fine until a newcomer was brought by the giants. A beautiful being who turned out to be a fast, deadly, and cunning creature. Slowly one by one all other intelligent life was systematically eliminated by this newcomer. Now he is the sole inhabitant.
This is a tale of a vast land that has been allowed to grow wild for a long time. Encompassed in a universe with limits there is but one intelligent inhabitant and he rules all. His name is Neo and he has killed all that have tried to enter except one.
The leader of the giants.
He came a few times to try and end the rain of terror but proved too slow for Neo. Defeated. He made a truce and left to decide the fate of the land and it's sole inhabitant. Waiting. Trying to decide if he must destroy the whole land to evict Neo or just leave him be.
He has decreed that for his victory this land will prosper and it's ruler will be safe. All Neo has to do is watch over the land while the giants transform it into a beautiful paradise.
Neo's, aggression and speed are his greatest defense. Capable of moving so fast that he appears to be a shimmer and in two places at once as he flies through the land. All an intruder will see is a flash of color and he is gone. Just hope he likes you or you are a lot bigger then him.
It should be noted that he is actually not a bad guy. He's just private. His homicidal side is just an outward expression of his irrational desire to be alone.
Being alone......
Sadly, Neo's only wish... and, his greatest sin...
You will see as we progress that the land is far to large to ever see all at once. Here I am just the narrator. I hope you like my little tale.
In the images beyond I will show you some of the unique vistas of this land. For now Neo will have his privacy.

New Poster Side note. Thanks for the years of info everyone. If it wasn't for this forum and the magazine the hobby would not be where it is today. Thanks for putting out a full version this month. Lastly The "Reefkeeping" tank of the month for September is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. I only hope someday to have a tank that awsome or even get to photograph one.
